At Sun City Tanning Studio, we offer clients a warm, private atmosphere where they can relax and unwind. Our salon is air conditioned in the summer for enhanced comfort and tucked away on the second level for privacy.

UV TANNING

At Sun City Tanning Studio, we offer 12 minute and 20 minute lay down sunbeds as well as 10 minute standup sunbeds. The sun emits both UVA and UVB light - in proportions almost identical to those emitted by our UV tanning equipment. You will tan similarly in our equipment as you would outdoors naturally in the sun.

The VersaSpa is a professional, automated sunless spray tanning system that offers an open concept booth, with a step by step voice instruction system, an infra-red heating system and a complete blow dry system to keep you informed, dry and comfortable during your session.
All solutions are Paraben Free - Gluten Free - Cruelty Free - Non Comedogenic and made with Eco Certified organic ingredients.

Sun City Tanning Studio's journey began in 2010, but long before that, the current owners ran Halifax's most prestigious tanning studio just steps from our current location. What started off as a small tanning salon, has grown significantly - we currently employ a dedicated team of five who are committed to providing exceptional customer service.

For many years, Sun City Tanning Studio has pampered clients with customized services and top quality products. Our studio and all of it's employees are Smart Tan ® certified, providing clients with truthful and accurate tanning knowledge and providing top notch service in the industry.

Sun City Tanning Studio is located in the heart of Downtown Halifax, just off Spring Garden Road. Situated on the second level of a historic home on Dresden Row, Sun City boasts 12 lay down and standup UV tanning beds to accommodate all tanner's needs. We also offer sunless spray tanning in our automated VersaSpa!

We offer a wide selection of top of the line tanning lotions, after-tan extenders and protective eyewear; our studio is kept exceptionally clean and we use hospital grade disinfectant on all tanning surfaces.
